Ottawa, 6 October 2010 — Mawlana Hazar Imam arrived in Ottawa today to chair the inaugural meeting of the Board of Directors of the Global Centre for Pluralism. He was received at the airport by Jason Kenney, Canadian Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, and Mohamed Manji, President of the Ismaili Council for Canada.

We Welcome Mowlana Hazar Imam to Canada. The Canadians are very fortunate to be able to receive Mowlana Hazar so frequently. The work he has embarked on for Pluralism is beneficial to all of the races residing in Canada and should be an exemplary system the whole world should adopt.
