Khalil Dhanji wins gymnastics gold in B.C. Championships

He not only qualified for the national championships, Khalil Dhanji was near-perfect.

The 15-year-old student from Panorama Ridge Secondary School was one of four males from the Surrey Gymnastics Society (SGS) to earn a trip to the nationals at last weekend B.C. Championships at Langley Events Centre, winning the all around gold medal in the Level 4 category.

Dhanji won four event medals on floor rings, vault and high bar, and also added bronze medals on pommel horse and parallel bars.
