Being a dentist, I am definitely interested in Dental Public Health and issues related to tobacco use but I am also inclined to work on non-communicable diseases.
Having worked as a dental care provider and also with Aga Khan Health Services – India, prior to joining the Master of Public Health program at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Mumbai – India), I realized that there are many disparities in the delivery of not just dental health services but health services in general.
