Call for Poster Competition
The organising committee also invites posters on the theme Picture Warning on Cigarette Packs. The posters should be submitted latest by May 26, 2009 at Nazarali Walji Building, 2 nd Floor, Pulmonary Clinic from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Winner of the poster competition will receive an attractive prize and a certificate.

I take this opportunity to congratulate and thank the Aga Khan University community for taking a very strong position in tobacco control. I challenge other institutions of higher learning to also respond to the changing burden of chronic diseases and actively advocate for their control and prevention. I am involved in tobacco control in my country, Kenya and would like to see what kind of posters you have. We are in the process of implenting pictorial health warning in all tobacco packages in this country and we would like to learn from your experience after this exercise.
