  1. For those not familiar with the Ottawa Citizen, it is the capital’s primary quality newspaper. The Saturday edition is the week’s biggest (chunkiest) and sells more copies than any other day of the week. This absorbing essay fully occupies the first 3 pages of today’s Observer section, which is the main segment of the Saturday edition.

With the advent of the internet, newspaper circulations have taken a dip and there is often the tendency to read and print from the web.

For this particular edition, I recommend that those who are able to, acquire the print edition of the paper and have it as permanent keepsake. This story does proud to the Imamate and the Imam’s emphasis on the importance of meritocratic principles. Careful review and reading of this fascinating essay by Maria Cook reveals the depth of Hazar Imam’s long standing wish that we should strive for excellence in all our effrorts and endeavours.
