Pakistan proved too strong for Canada whom they beat by nine wickets in the ongoing Golden Jubilee Ismaili Sports Festival at the Simba Union on Friday.
Nizar Moosa top scored for Canada with 54 runs but lacked support from the other batsmen who were dismissed cheaply by Pakistani bowlers. Nizal and Keshvan Shaheed were the only Canadian batsmen who managed to get double digit scores.
Batting first after winning the toss, Canada were all out for a paltry 107 in their allotted 20 overs.
Amir Ali was Pakistan’s highest wicket taker with two for 17 and was supported by Rahim Salim with one for 11 and Sayani Rahil with one for 14.
In reply Pakistan were home and dry for the loss of one wicket and 46 balls on hand.

Not surprised that Pakistan team did so well. Jelal Jaffer should have been there to help Canada.
