Shamsh Kara was selected to receive the above award at the beautiful premises of the
Civic Centre of Town of Markham.
The award is in recognition for an individual who has made lasting and
meaningful contribution/s, provided significant support to the Canadian
Community in which the person lives and has been instrumental in uniting the
community in support of common cause. Nominated individual must have his/her
principal residence in Ontario.
The ceremoney was held at the Civic Centre of Town of Markahm in the Council Chambers on Sat. may 12, 2007 at 3.00 pm
