Faculty members speak at St. Edmund’s College, University of Cambridge

From February 9th to 11th, 2007 AKU-ISMC faculty members, Modjtaba Sadria and Farid Panjwani, participated as invited speakers at a conference titled Commitment, Character and Citizenship: Religious Schooling in Liberal Democracy held at St. Edmund’s College, University of Cambridge, UK. While Sadria responded to the keynote address on ‘Religion and Character in a Democratic Society’, Panjwani presented a paper, “‘Before the Words of Thy Lord are Spent…Faith Based Schooling and Diversity Within Religions” (Abstract), as part of the session ‘Democratic Schooling and the Demands of Religion’.
