Bukhara is another very historic city on the Silk Road for Islamic history and learning
centers. Located on the Silk Road, Bukhara has long served as a center of trade, scholarship, culture, religion, and was the capital of the Samanid Empire, Khanate of Bukhara, and Emirate of Bukhara. Interestingly, Tajik is the most common and widely used language here, with Uzbek language coming second.
