Farhan Shah-Shahid Rehman and JollyGul.com’s Musical Collaboration “Saavan” Wins Prestigious 2020 Global Music Award

Saavan” A musical collaboration of Farhan ShahShahid Rehman (Music Producers, Udan Khatola) and JollyGul.com, which was released late last year has won prestigious 2020 Global Music Award for Outstanding Achievement under the Eastern contemporary classical category.

Farhan Shah made the announcement of this win via his social media channel where he thanked his entire team. He also acknowledged Global Music Awards jury which consists of Grammy and Emmy Award winners for their consideration.

Saavan features Ustaad Islamuddin Meer as a lead vocalist, with Farhan Shah being the 2nd lead adding the contemporary vocal elements. Nureen Sumar (Calgary, Canada) adds her master touch by introducing contemporary choral elements. Shahid Rehman’s guitar work, Zeeshan Perwez (bass), Ashiq Ali Meer (tabla), Ajay Harry (drums), Sheroze Hussain (sitar) completes this musical ensemble that takes this production to unbelievable musical heights. Shereen Ladha’s (Toronto, Canada) superb dance choreography rounds out this all star cast.

Ali Raza (Unikrew Production) and his team were tasked to bring this video to life and they did a wonderful job working with video footage from Pakistan, Canada and Australia.
