Meet National Technology Series (NTS) Team:
Tarik Ali is currently a Management Consultant at Accenture, where he works on strategy, operations, and business development engagements across a variety of industries. Outside his client engagements, Tarik is passionate about coaching and people development. He is the Chair and Co-Founder of Esonance, a career-centred performance consulting company, headquartered in Toronto. Tarik currently sits on the University of Toronto Alumni Association Mentorship Committee, serves as a non-profit consulting engagement advisor for the University Consulting Group, and is on the Board of Directors of the Finance and Accounting Professionals Alliance.
As a Masters of Digital Media candidate at Ryerson University, Zeeanna Ibrahim explores the ever-changing digital world through an educational lens. She graduated as part of the first cohort from the Global Business and Digital Arts program at the University of Waterloo, where she also worked as a Digital Communications Coordinator, managing the University’s social media platforms. During her time as a Video Editor for the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Zeeanna initiated the creative process behind the “Hack to Basics” video series aimed at educating the public on effective recycling strategies. From ideation to creation, Zeeanna’s main focus is on user experience and video production.
Meet Salman Ladha a technology enthusiast with a passion for product, investing and video marketing. As a B2B Video Specialist at Vidyard, Salman enables organizations globally to succeed with the power of video in an evolving marketing landscape. During his Masters of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology at the University of Waterloo, Salman was a regional finalist for the Hult Prize, where he and his team launched a platform aimed at enabling refugee artisans to compete in global markets. Salman can often be found publishing articles on his blog, reading literature on leadership and strategy, training at the gym, or catching the latest Marvel movie.
As a Cyber Security Consultant with Ernst and Young, Mubina Chunara works with global organizations to ensure the integrity of their digital assets in response to the rising concerns around data vulnerability in an increasingly connected world. Having worked with institutions such as Communitech and Shopify, Mubina is passionate about startups and an advocate for women in technology. Alongside this, she serves as the Director of Teams and Ambassadors for The World Partnership Walk, Canada’s largest movement towards the alleviation of global poverty. In her spare time, she enjoys trying out new foods, going for long hikes, and playing a variety of sports.
Meet Adam Nanjee, an avid technologist, futurist, and presently, a leader in the Canadian technology and innovation sector. As an executive at various technology startups, Fortune 500 companies, and a board member of the Canadian Innovation Exchange, Adam has been an ambassador and champion for Canada’s cutting-edge technology sector. Notably, he launched Canada’s first dedicated innovations and technical vertical at MaRS Discovery District – North America’s largest innovations hub connecting innovative technology companies, corporations and venture capital. Adam is currently a member of the Ismaili Centres Canada Management Board for Toronto and Burnaby.
