The Diamond Jubilee commemoration represents both recognition of the Aga Khan’s work over 60 years and an opportunity to launch wide-ranging new initiatives for improving quality of life.
His Highness the Aga Khan arrives in Lisbon, Portugal to Military Honours on the occasion of his Diamond Jubilee. His Highness was received by Head of State Protocol Ambassador, Clara Nunes dos Santos, Diplomatic Representative of the Ismaili Imamat Portugal, Nazim Ahmad and Aga Khan Council for Portugal President, Rahim Firozali. His Highness was also greeted by Ambassador Ana Martinho, Senior Diplomatic Adviser to the President of the Republic, Bruno Tavares, Diplomatic Adviser to the President of Parliament, and Manuela Galhardo, State Protocol Officer.
