Allah, Mighty and Majestic, made clear His religion through the Imams of the Family of our Prophet [and] opened the wells of His ‘ilm [knowledge] by them… For Allah, Blessed and Exalted, has placed the Imam as a guidepost for His creation and appointed him to be a proof to the inhabitants of His world. Allah crowned the Imam with spiritual dignity and enveloped him in the Light of the Omnipotent!

Friend! None but a few know of the exalted station. Indeed, they alone recognize it who have found the true guide. Friend! Within the heart, at the confluence of the three spiritual rivers, there is an imperishable light. There – a shimmering effulgence, pearls are showered. Friend! My lord is not such that he can be spoken of. He is to be seen – for he is indescribable, and nameless!
