  1. The jamatkhana is the oldest in the centre of downtown, on big occasions it would be lit up with lights on the huge
    building looking so beautiful and lighting up the streets too. i have never forgotten this splendid lighting as a young child.

In any event I thought hat it would be interesting to Check the birth and death records over time which exist at the Jamatkhaneh to see the changes in life expectency etc .     1. Thank you for your response. The life expectancy has improved greatly for the community not only in Kenya but other parts of the world where ismailis live. People live longer. Healthy food and walking and other excerices has improved the health of the people.
      Michael Curtis was a director of the Aga Hospital and i was also a director of the Hospital. The hospital has advanced greatly equipped with all the latest technology and services. One of the finest hospital in Nairobi with health centres opened across the country.

  3. Hi – I’m doing some history research and want to know if anyone has the history of the building of the Pangani jamatkhana? Who was the builder and what year did it open? Please help!
