Today we pay tribute to Prince Amyn as we wish him “Happy Birthday” on his 80th birthday for the many sacrifices he has made for the betterment of Ismailis worldwide and the various peoples amongst whom they live with; for encouraging global peace by bringing people together through the arts, culture, music and heritage initiatives; for healing misunderstanding and in fostering trust across great divides through many facets of diplomacy, many times done quietly and away from the media spotlight.
Brother and loyal supporter, trusted advisor and confidant of His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan, Prince Amyn throughout his lifetime and the entirety of his adult life has always been by his brother’s side, shoulder to shoulder. For this, Ismailis around the world are grateful to Prince Amyn for his unwavering love for and devotion to our beloved Imam.

I have always admired Prince Amyn Aga Khan for his role in always standing by his brother our Beloved Imam and have never forgotten when The Aga Khan was appointed our Imam by his grandfather, Prince Amyn immediately bowed all the way down to The Aga Khans feet to give his full support throughout the Imamat. Have always admired him standing by our Imam at all times.
