How Yusuf and Salim ended up in the cabinet business after immigrating to Calgary from East Africa is another classic immigrant success story: Soon after landing in Calgary, they secured employment with a cabinet company. From there, Yusuf worked his way up from the shop floor to sales while Salim worked in increasingly senior production roles. Entrepreneurs at heart, Yusuf and Salim realized they could create better quality, lower priced cabinets while offering superior service and founded Classic Kitchens and Cabinets.
