In 2001, the Johnson & Johnson Corporate Citizenship Trust and the Aga Khan Development Network partnered to upgrade nursing skills and foster nurse leadership in East Africa through educational scholarships. Since then, the partnership has evolved to include multiple interventions to support nurse training, education and empowerment.
