Zahra Pirani: Chair, Young Professionals Group, Association of Consulting Engineering Companies of British Columbia

The 2016 / 2017 Association of Consulting Engineering Companies of British Columbia (ACEC-BC) Young Professionals Group (YPG) Steering Committee has already begun planning a variety of new events and initiatives for the year. These events and initiatives aim to support committee mandate of promoting young professionals (YPs) within the consulting industry, advancing their knowledge of business practice, and contributing to their success and integration within the consulting engineering business in BC.

[…] For those that live within the Lower Mainland, Okanagan, or Vancouver Island, the breakfast seminars offer an opportunity to engage and learn from respected speakers on the soft skills topics such as business development, communications and project management. In addition, the networking events are a great way to mix and mingle with like-minded YPs from other consulting companies.
