VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Pan Pacific hotel was abuzz with Ismaili Muslims last night, as they welcome their spiritual leader, the Aga Khan to Vancouver.
He’s in town as part of his 8 day Golden Jubilee visit to Canada, and will meet with Burnaby’s mayor and the Premier today.
Thousands of supporters are expected to hear him speak at BC Place. The Aga Khan is said to be the direct descendent of the Prophet Mohammad.
