Aziz Hashim, a multi-brand franchisee and managing partner of NRD Capital Management, recently assumed the role of 2016 Chair of the International Franchise Association (IFA) Board of Directors during the association’s 56th Annual Convention. The position previously belonged to Melanie Bergeron, CFE, Chairwoman of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®.
As a long-standing IFA member and an advocate and mentor to the franchise industry as a whole, Hashim has held many leadership positions in the association throughout his career. He has been a member of the IFA Board of Directors since 2011, and he has been active in a variety of roles at the association, including serving on the Franchisee Forum and chairing the Strategic Planning Committee and the Convention Committee.
