The National Flag of Canada, also known as the Maple Leaf, turned 50 in 2015. To mark this special milestone, the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta created a short film that shows Albertans’ love for the nation’s most beloved and recognizable symbol.
The film was premiered at the 2016 New Year’s Day Levee, hosted by Her Honour, the Honourable Lois Mitchell, CM, AOE, LLD, at Government House in Edmonton on Friday, January 1.
