He’s not your stereotypical MBA grad working in finance. As a Millennial, Fayaz Manji represents a new type of professional living and working his values. An experience early in his MBA program changed his career course and set him on a path of purpose (and a paycheque). Bucking the trend that Millennials switch jobs every 2 years, Fayaz has been at Right To Play since he graduated in 2010 and shares with us great advice that he’s learned along the way.

Q&A with Fayaz Manji, a manager with Right to PlayFayaz Manji, Senior Program Analyst, Child Welfare Operations Excellence, Ontario Children’s Aid Societies. Fayaz Manji has spent six years as a professional in the non-profit sector. He is a Senior Program Analyst at the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies (OACAS). He focuses on Strategy and Operations issues that are facing the child welfare sector in Ontario. Prior to joining OACAS, Fayaz was a Finance Manager at Right To Play, an international non-profit organization. He has also worked as a Consultant for a start-up non-profit organization in Ghana, focusing on livelihoods in the informal sector.

Fayaz has an MBA from the Rotman School of Management and has a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering. He is a big advocate of programs focused on positive child and youth development and economic empowerment. In his spare time, Fayaz enjoys playing soccer, tutoring and spending time with his niece and nephew.
