The 2015 to ’16 performing arts season at North York’s Aga Khan Museum will bring people closer to such places as Afghanistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Syria and Canada.
The museum has booked a dozen presentations of music and dance, theatre and film for the upcoming season, which runs from Sept. 26 to Dec. 12.
“Once again we present the best of live arts and film from around the world.
We’re excited to host such respected international artists as jazz trumpeter/composer Amir ElSaffar, the legendary singer Ustad Eltaf Sarahang from Afghanistan and Spanish dancer/choreographer Patricia Ibáñez in addition to many local talents, including Toronto’s Human Cargo/Crow’s Theatre, Sheniz Janmohamed and Roberto Occhipinti.”
