Kam Shams works at the epee-center of Healthcare, Information Technology and Entrepreneurship. His experiences include transforming healthcare organizations in Illinois and California before he launched his own consulting and software firm 25 years ago. Since then The Shams Group has grown and served over 400 healthcare organizations across USA, Canada, Middle East and Asia with a staff of 200 people worldwide.
In the last 10 years, Kam has been actively involved in entrepreneurship via alliances:
• Founder of Dallas Golden Investment Club (DGIC), an Ismaili alliance with 150 members and over 35 million in real estate and other investments since 2008
• Founding member of Regent alliance with about 38 million in real estate investments since 2011
• Advisor and investor at TAD a TIE start-up platform that invest in new technology startups
• Mentor, Dallas Entrepreneurship Center (DEC)
