Aga Khan university launches kids development programme | The Star Kenya

The Aga Khan University (AKU) launched The Institute for Human Development with a sumptuous cocktail at the Safari Park hotel in Nairobi last Thursday evening. The institute is aimed at boosting early childhood development.

AKU president Firoz Rasul said, “Harnessing and advancing the knowledge of human development, particularly the earliest years of a child’s development are vital for improving the living standards in the developing world.”

In attendance were researchers, policy makers, programme designers, governmental and non – governmental agencies.
