‘Truth prevails’: A business tycoon relives memories

Friends and well-wishers at a select gathering of the capital’s elite shared their views about and association with one of Pakistan’s most prominent businessmen at the launch of his memoirs on Sunday.

The book “Truth Always Prevails”, a memoir of Sadruddin Hashwani, a self-narrated account of his personal experiences and struggle as an entrepreneur while giving an in-depth account of Pakistan’s economic and evolutionary highs and lows.

According to a press release, it narrates Hashwani’s journey to becoming the ‘Cotton King of Pakistan’, the economic suffering after the nationalisation in 70s, the birth of hospitality industry and the challenge of instability in policies.
