Zed Bana: Documentary PhotographerZed Bana is an emerging documentary photographer with a passion to tell unprecedented stories about street children around the world.

He is currently doing a multimedia internship at Krokola, a platform for creative projects that promote freedom of self expression. He is being mentored by Avi Hudson, the award-winning Canadian creative producer and working on a long term project about the children of Sindh, which will be published as a limited edition photo book by the Canadian publishing house Krokola Xpress in 2016.

Bana completed his graduate studies at Pakistan’s preeminent media sciences school, where he was awarded a Gold Medal for academic excellence.

He recently travelled to Thailand with a special delegation to attend ASEAN, an international jamboree, where he shot a feature story on the lady boys of Bangkok.

This summer, a selection of his work in progress was exhibited by the IBA at The Regent Plaza hotel.

He loves to travel, photograph exotic places, and ride his motorcycle. He heads the cub scouts in his Ismaili district and judges regional and international competitions.
