We are very delighted to once again host a World Partnership Walk Garage Sale to be held on Saturday May 10th 2014.The World Partnership Walk, to be held on Sunday May 25th, is Canada’s largest initiative in alleviating global poverty. Through the funds raised by this walk, Canada and the Aga Khan Development Network are improving millions of lives in Asia and Africa. As the walk celebrates its 30th year this year, we hope this year’s garage sale will be bigger and more successful than last year. In order to make that happen, we need your help. We are collecting the following items for the garage sale:
HOUSE HOLD ITEMS
DECORATIVE ITEMS
JEWELRY
APPLIANCES
PURSES
KITCHEN ITEMS
CHILDREN’S TOYS
BOOKS
Other items are welcome, however we request that you do not donate any clothing material or shoes. All items are requested to be in new or great condition. Items may be dropped off to 39 Bartley Drive. Last day to drop off items is April 30th. If you wish to give a monetary donation for the walk, you may do so on May 10th at the garage sale. We sincerely hope that you will help us in creating more awareness about the walk and the cause that it serves as well as raise funds. We look forward to receiving your donations as well as seeing you on Walk Day and at the garage sale.
