As Vice-President of Operations Strategy & Execution at TELUS, Zainul leads a diverse team of 100 professionals across Canada who shape operational strategy, direct business transformation initiatives, and launch new technologies and services. Her team’s programs create substantial improvements in customer experience and team member productivity across residential, business and wholesale telecom markets.
Zainul and her team were instrumental in the launch and ongoing phenomenal growth of TELUS’ award winning Optik TV service, which is widely acknowledged as the foremost IP based television service in the industry.
Zainul joined TELUS in 2001 after completing her MBA at the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business. Her passion for entrepreneurship and technology has earned her key leadership roles in TELUS’ Chief Marketing Office, Corporate Strategy, Business Transformation (IT), and Technology Operations.
