This school project was initiated by member Mahebub Chatur as an International Project in Afghanistan. It has been conceptualised with the community living in the village and a few members of the community living in Kabul and in London. The Rotary club of Tower Hamlets coordinated by Mr. M. Chatur are also collaborating with Rotary Clubs in Afghanistan. The objective is to ensure that every girl and young mother in this Village called baikh, is able and enabled to get basic education. The school started in April 2013, with 375, girls and young mothers accessing basic education, free of charge in the village. The rate of unemployment in the village is over 75%.
