Mina Mawani to Lead Canadian Women's FederationToronto: The Canadian Women’s Foundation recently announced the appointment of Mina Mawani as its President and CEO. Mina is best known for leading transformations as CEO of the Aga Khan Council for Canada, where she successfully contributed to the planning of a new Ismaili Centre and Museum in Toronto.

As a long-time supporter of women’s rights, Mina’s role as the new CEO of the Canadian Women’s Foundation will be critical in helping to move women out of violence, out of poverty and into confidence. Mina’s diverse background, her incredible dedication in representing the voice of women from the South Asian community and her all inclusive belief in women’s equality makes her an exemplary leader to guide the Foundation’s next plans to improve the lives of women and girls in Canada.
