One year ago, a dear friend passed away. She was kind, inspiring and a fighter – and she was only 31. Many of us still struggle to reconcile how someone so young with so much to offer the world could be taken away from us. But we know she is in a better place.
Today we launch the fundraiser for the Rehana Meghani Memorial Scholarship at the University of Victoria’s Law School. The scholarship will be awarded to students who share Rehana’s mission to alleviate despair in the developing world.
She may not have survived cancer but nothing can take away her achievements and accomplishments. And we all can help see her mission through.
