Jamat of Rajula in Gujarat: Naadim Shamji & Family’s Holiday Tour to India

Jamat of Rajula in Gujarat: Naadim Shamji & Family's Holiday Tour to IndiaAfter our enquiries about town, we were invited to the house of the Mukhi Saheb of Rajula where we told him our family history. It was not long before mum had got herself a ginan vado and dad was given first dua!

On arrival at Rajula Jamatkhana we once again had an interesting experience. Men and women hardly mingle in the Jamatkhana and the Huzur Mukhis wear special hats.

Our expert driver Jignesh, whose name my dad could never remember, safely navigated us through the dark roads back to Bhavnagar, arriving finally around 10:30. We would have to savour our energy for Palitana the next day, a 3700 steps hill journey…
