Belle Rive Jamatkhana and Centre is the first “purpose built” Jamatkhana in Edmonton. A Jamatkhana is the proper name for a place of religious and social congregation for the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims. This Jamatkhana is the synthesis of Islamic architecture and contemporary building design, a fusion of modern day society and of architectural principles rooted in the tradition of the Ismaili Community.
