Aga Khan Foundation partners with CIDA in protecting sea turtles in Tanzania
In partnership with Aga Khan Foundation, CIDA has helped counter the decline in the population of sea turtles, much valued for their meat and shells by fishers in Tanzania. One of the targets of the Millennium Development Goal aimed at ensuring environmental sustainability is to achieve a significant reduction in biodiversity loss.
