My name is Rania Walli and I will be turning three years old on May 14.
My parents have provided me everything I need, so this year, instead of presents I’m requesting people to consider sponsoring me for the World Partnership Walk. Together, we can help lift families, including little ones like me, out of proverty, and provide a spark where there may have seemed to be none.
The World Partnership Walk is Canada?s largest annual event dedicated to raising funds and awareness to end global poverty, and I’m very proud to be supporting this walk as a full 100% of funds raised go to projects. Additionally, funds are leveraged for multi-fold matching, such as from the Government of Canada’s development entity, CIDA. So each $100 could become $300, $400, $500 or even more!
The money I raise will support Aga Khan Foundation Canada, an international development agency and registered Canadian charity that supports social and economic development programs in Asia and Africa. Literacy classes for women in Afghanistan, better quality education for girls and boys in East Africa, and new employment opportunities in Pakistan and Mozambique?these are just a few of the reasons I?m Walking this year!
