Ismailimail has reached a milestone of 5 million page views!. With this event, we would like to acknowledge and share the enthusiasm of all those who support the spreading of knowledge and inspirational stories. Here are some important stats:
So far we have made 9,700 blog posts and you have contributed 8,744 comments. There are approximately 3400 Email subscribers; 1026 Twitter followers; 681 Facebook followers and a handful on brand new Google Plus service. Ismailimail blog averages 2700 page views in a 24 hour period from all over the world.
We would like to acknowledge all those who actively share and forward content from Ismailimail either via email forwards, Facebook likes and shares, Twitter retweets, or via any other popular social networks or other means. You are all contributing towards the same goal.
Special acknowledgement goes out to all those who take their time in commenting at the blog and all those WordPress bloggers who follow Ismailimail. Last but not the least, those of you who submit and contribute stories from the world of Ismaili community, you are the reason this blog continues to provides food for thought and inspirations to many young and old alike.

Heartiest congratulations to ISMAILIMAIL and its publisher on this remarkable achievement!! I was travelling home from my cottage today when I saw the count go over 5 million. In my mind this is really a tribute to the publisher of the much-visited and wildly popular ISMAILIMAIL website. I wish to take this occasion to record my deep admiration for the work that you have done in bringing to the attention of the worldwide Jamat and the public at large the thousands of stories of successes, accomplishments, joys as well as sorrows of Ismaili individuals and Jamats since you began your blog a few years ago. In the short period, you have accomplished a monumental milestone of 5 million views.
From the greatest of technological innovators to astrophysicists who talk in terms of billions of light years when talking about distances, from the surgeons who probe the brains to artists and writers who thrill and inspire us with their works, – Ismailimail has covered them all. Your coverage has shown us how dynamic the Ismaili youth and Jamat is, and this is a tribute to the encouraging guidance and wisdom of our beloved 49th Imam, Mawlana Hazar Imam, whose activities you have also covered so well.
Yours is truly a grassroots website, where anyone can make a comment and be heard! Your vision of creating Ismailimail and maintaining it the way you have is extraordinary, and will continue to serve and enrich the worldwide internet audience. In creating the blog, you aptly called it Ismailimail – a mail that, I will admit, happens to be my first reference point of the day for anything Ismaili related.
Some years ago when I first learnt about Ismailimail, my first duty every morning was to Ismailimail. I would dedicate about 30 minutes, searching hard for unique items related to the Jamat, and hoping that my links reached you first before anyone else’s. That’s how excited you made me feel. Times have since changed because of developing technologies, but the hard work you put in has exponentially increased.
Just over 3 years ago when I interviewed Maria Cook of the Ottawa Citizen, I was proud that you happily accepted my contribution and published it on your blog. As you are aware,
http://www.Simerg.com was launched after that interview, and today a large part of the success story of Simerg is due to the thousands of referrals that you bring to the website through the posts that you graciously and kindly announce.
The five million mark has speedily come by, and there is no doubt that, Inshallah, the 10 million mark will be reached much sooner. Please keep up the outstanding work – there is nothing today that can substitute Ismailimail.
