September 2, 2011 Paris, France – Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird meets with His Highness the Aga Khan, 49th hereditary Imam of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims, in Paris on September 2, 2011. They met to discuss the issue of combating religious intolerance and Canada’s commitment to create the Office of Religious Freedom. Minister Baird and the Aga Khan also took the opportunity to discuss the situation in the Middle East and North Africa.
