The search to unearth Britain’s female talent of tomorrow begins with the launch of the Women of the Future Awards 2011.
Founded by Pinky Lilani OBE in 2006 with Caspian Media, and supported by Shell, the awards celebrate the next generation of Britain’s high-potential women aged 35 and under who are making an impact in business, the arts, science and technology.
This year, a new category has been introduced – the Woman of the Future in Public Service – which will acknowledge female volunteers, charity employees and public-sector workers who are making a difference in their fields.
With Her Royal Highness Princess Zahra Aga Khan and Cherie Blair as patrons, the mission of the Women of the Future Awards is to spotlight young talent and create new, positive role models for future generations.
