Islamic Art Collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York goes Digital

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York recently unveiled an updated digital archive of its Islamic Art Department holdings. Over 12,000 items, including every accessioned work in the Department, are now included in the museum’s Collection Database. Each entry includes basic details about the object and most appear with accompanying photographs.
