The United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM, part of UN Women) recognizes the importance of the UNIFEM (part of UN Women) National Committee for Canada and looks forward to its contribution towards solidifying Canada’s partnership with the newly established United Nations Gender Entity for Empowerment of Women (UN Women) effective January 2011.

Empowering women is of utmost importance. We are humans life every one else. I know personally what a life time of being put down, being mentally , sexually, & physically abused that it has raped me from being all that I can be. It is a constant struggle to be strong for myself.
I fully believe in helping all woman in feeling safe, knowing that they are worth something and believing in themselves without doubt , that the world will flourish.
