“Hi, I am Joe Biden and I work for Barack Obama.” Those were the introductory remarks by the United States Vice President in his public lecture given at The Kenyatta International Conference Centre on the 9th of June 2010.
The Aga Khan Academy IB1 Business & Management and Economics students were part of the audience that consisted of numerous University and Pre-University students. The trip had been organized as a motivator for the students as a result of their consistence, diligence, and hard work and handing in homework on time.
Mr. Joe Biden had earlier on been welcomed to the podium by Kenya’s very own Nobel Peace Laureate, Professor Wangare Maathai, who sent a message of Kenyan love to President Barack Obama through his number two.
