ISLAMABAD, (SANA): Pakistan Muslim League-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Sayed Sunday felicitated Prince Karim Aga Khan on his birthday and eulogized the services Aga Khan family for the development and well being of people of Pakistan.
Both the party leaders also sent bouquets and sweets to Prince Karim Aga Khan through the party’s members of Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly Bashir Ahmed Khan, Amna Ansari and Capt (R) Sikandar on the happy occasion.
In the felicitation message, both the leaders paid rich tributes to the services of Aga Khan family in Pakistan Movement and later for the development of the country.
“The grandfather of Prince Karim Aga Khan was a towering personality. He was also central leader of All Pakistan Muslim League and a leading Pakistan Movement leader. He made useful contributions to Pakistan Movement and played a pivotal role under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah,” said the message sent by PML-Q leaders.
They also showered praises for Prince Aly Khan, the uncle of Prince Karim Aga Khan, who was Pakistan’s ambassador to United Nations (1958-60) and also served as Vice President of the United Nations General Assembly representing Pakistan.
