Nejeed Kassam publishes “High on Life”, a book about young people effecting global change

Nejeed Kassam, BA’08, has long been an advocate for change and social justice. While at McGill, he co-founded a charity, End Poverty Now, that drew the attention of the Montreal media.

More recently, though, Kassam edited The High on Life Book: Stories of Hope, Change and Leadership, a collection of 16 stories about young people effecting big changes in the world, told by the change-makers themselves. He hopes the book will inspire action from people with similar aspirations.

Royalties from the book will go toward the Granting Change Program, a foundation that funds young people’s initiatives to change their local and global communities.
