Jamat Khanas in Arusha, Tanzania and Hyderabad in India

This striking picture of the Jamat Khana in Hyderabad was taken by Sultan Jessa during a recent visit to India. More than 12,000 Ismailis live in Hyderabad.

The other picture is of the Jamat Khana in Arusha, Tanzania. Arusha in northern Tanzania currently has around 300 Ismailis. Ismailis, who lived in Arusha during the 1960s and 1970s, will be getting together July 30, 31 and August 1, 2010 in Toronto for their first ever reunion.
