Hebrew cantorial prayers, Christian choral music, Sufi poetry, the Quran sung in Arabic and Ginan devotionals — South Asian hymns of the Ismaili Muslim sect — are rarely heard in a single setting.
On Saturday evening, an interfaith ensemble of student performers will create an opportunity to hear these holy sounds at the Episcopal Church for the Venerable Bede on the University of Miami’s Coral Gables campus.
