Alia Dharamsi awarded UBC’s Wesbrook and Premier awards

Congratulations Wesbrook Scholar: Alia Dharamsi – January 21 ’09 – Congratulations to Integrated Sciences Student, Alia Dharamsi. Alia has been awarded a 2008/2009 Wesbrook Scholar award and designation.

The Wesbrook Scholar award is UBC’s most prestigious designations and is awarded on the basis of Academic performance, Leadership, Sports participation as well as Involvement in student and community activities.

Alia is 1 of only 20 UBC undergraduates to have received the award this year. We are amazed with all of the outstanding goals she has achieved and influence she has made on those around her.

Alia Dharamsi awarded Premier Undergraduate Scholarship – December 10 ’09 – IntSci student Alia Dharamsi has been awarded one of the 2009 Premier Undergraduate Scholarships. Alia’s nomination brought her into the top 13 of all applicants for both the Wesbrook and Premier awards this year. These awards are the most prominent here at UBC and the most sought after by students.
