The Director General and Chief Financial Officer is responsible for managing the finances of the University on an overall basis and to provide leadership for management of financial systems and services for all academic and service units. This includes obtaining approvals for funding plans for different projects of the University, establishing business development offices to facilitate commercialisation of intellectual property, and pursuing the income generating activities.
