  1. Update received from Zulfiqar Ali Khan:

    Karimabad was the capital of former Hunza state which was abolished in 1974 by the then PM Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. Now administratively Aliabad is serving as the administrative capital of Hunza.

  2. yes indeed Aliabad is the commercial and administrative capital of greater Hunza valley. Karimabad is place of peace and pure environ of local people and for foreign tourists
