Gulamhussein’s win of Governor General’s Medal makes it a trifecta for Statistics and Actuarial Sciences
By Mitchell Zimmer
Faisel Gulamhussein is only one of two people in this year’s graduating class of over 7,000 students to have won the Governor General’s
Medal. The award is given to the graduating student with the highest standing in any four-year honors program at the University. Gulamhussein’s academic record is outstanding, he has been on the Dean’s Honor List in each of his four years of study and he graduated with distinction from the Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences.
Gulamhussein’s win has made history for the Department as well in that it is the third year in a row that the award has been handed to one of their graduates.
keep it up Faisel.
